Cheese. Chocolate. Mountains. Yodeling. Ricola cough drops. These are some of the things that come to my mind when I think of Switzerland. Prior to my trip, my knowledge of the country didn’t really extend far beyond that. I just knew that it was somewhere on my list of places to travel to. When Ben and I were looking for our next vacation spot, and I saw that roundtrip flights to Zurich (first week of September) were about $650, we decided that’s where we were going to go. At that point, neither of us knew just how much Switzerland had to offer. But as we were doing our research, we quickly realized that 10 days would not be enough to see everything we wanted. So, we settled for an abridged version. Abridged, but still jam-packed. In the time we spent there, we got to visit Zurich, Lucerne, Zweisimmen, Montreux, Gruyerès, Geneva, and Zermatt.
