Did you know that Cobh (pronounced Cove, but formerly known as Queenstown) is where the Titanic set sail on its ill-fated maiden voyage? Out of 123 passengers who boarded the ship, only 44 survived (stole this tidbit from Wikipedia). And no, this did not include Jack and Rose, in real life. They’re completely fictional.
That being said, it’s only fitting that Cobh would have their own Titanic museum.

I can’t speak for the actual town, since I was only here for about an hour – but the views of the harbour are really incredible. You’ll just have to go see for yourself!

love the blog and Cobh!
